Little Artist

Olivia this spring. She loved colouring. I tried a new punch for the flowers on the branch. I used a martha stewart punch for the border and did some sewing. I used some dusty attic chipboard for the chicken wire makings. Used up some stash for brads, buttons and papers. Used a Tim Holtz stamp for the title.

Grand daughters

I liked the papers and the photo of my husband playing with the kids.

Grandparents

I made this page and framed it for last year's gift exchange for Christmas. I really like how it turned out. It is of my husband's family. His paternal grandmother and her siblings and parents. The papers are Bo Bunny. Used a dusty attic clock. Alphas are thickers.  Large chipboard swirl and clock are from the coordinating package for the papers.

Beautiful Jenn

Tim Holtz papers and Prima flowers, Other designs and letter cut with my cricket. Zva bling.

Mason

From a couple of years ago. Scraplifted a design from Gabrielle at Such a Pretty Mess

Beautiful Maire

This page is a couple of years old. Just found the photo of it. It is a bit distorted as it is a regular 12X12. Loved the paper and big pink flower. Marie used to love dressing up in princess costumes.

Big Sister

Tatym and Boston last Christmas.

Clifton

Great nephew. What a sweety.

Wee Leprachaun

Our Olivia all dressed up for St. Patrick's Day last March. She is such a dolly. All the supplies are from my stash and many are dollar store. The letters and the wooden extra large popsicle stick are from there with the kids craft supplies. I used some transparencies and fussy cut the clock. I bought the white ceramic wishing well at Scrapbook Studio but forget the manufacturer. The chipboard is dusty attic. I love the little bumble bees. They are dollar store as are the tags. Buttons are from a big Walmart button bag from the craft section. Used some twine from my stash to sew them. Also used up some brads, bling and did some sewing. Glued a really shiny penny in a little paper pot of gold. It's hard to see in the picture.

Olivia

Olivia at Tatym's birthday this spring. All supplies are from my stash. The pink butterflies are paper cupcake holders from the dollar store. They were red so I sprayed them. She looked so beautiful in a new light green/blue outfit I bought for her. She had a ball playing with all the toys.

4th Birthday

Beautiful Tatym on her 4th birthday.  Made this page many months ago so forget what products I used for the most part. Papers were from my stash. Chipboard is dusty attic. Used different colours of perfect  pearls then sprayed in with some glimmer mist. The flowers on the top were brown so did the same colouring and misting on them. Also used some alcohol inks first to change the colour of the blooms. Put that on with a qtip. Flowers are handmade from Bonnie's Paper Flower Garden. Bought them at Scrapbook Studio. Bought the white alphas for the page but don't remember the manufacturer. Used some cheese cloth and did some sewing. Used some pearls from my stash and an ek punch for the bottom strip.

Second Birthday

Our beautiful grandson on his second birthday.  Of course I couldn't get a perfect picture of a two year old boy but got these two great action shots of him with his mom and dad. I used up some old papers from my stash on this one. Also used Tim Holtz stamp and gears and measuring tape. Got the net from JSI. They had some pieces in little plastic bags. Great idea. Thanks for that. Zipper pull and light bulb embellies are new but I forget the manufacturer. Smile stamp is an old clear stamp. Bought a new Tim Holtz tiny attacher. Really like it. Didn't realize how much of his stuff I use until I did some blog posts today. Bought some new alphabet stickers from Prima in a few colours. I really like them. They come on foam so are 3D. Used some stazon ink in green and a martha stewart punch. Did some sewing. Glued on a couple of pieces of driftwood. Made a twine flower. My past posts have references to these.

By the Ocean

A photo of beautiful Maire by the ocean in BC. She is such a sweet girl and poses beautifully for the camera. She knows I like to take photos. The papers are Prima from the En Francais collection. I used them for two layouts one for a newborn boy and for this one. The lace on the bottom is fabric store from my Mom's sewing stash. The lace butterflies I am pretty sure are Martha Stewart. I made the twine flower. Thanks Kayla for the mini tutorial. The flowers are from my stash and not sure what company but came in a glass bottle. The large flower is a few different ones put together and behind them is an inked wooden doily.Used some packaging behind the photo to layer. Did some sewing. I try and use different stitches each time as I have a bunch on my machine I haven't used yet. This one will be a favourite. Pin is a gift from Laura. I think she bought them in California when she was there. Ribbon glide is an old one. Buttons are Jellybean soup or something like that. Frame for the photo is made with decorative scissors and white dots on each scallop. This idea is from Gabriella at Such A Pretty Mess.  If you haven't visited her site go have a look. You are in for a treat. Bling is Zva I think. The wood is two little pieces of driftwood from the beach by where this photo was taken. Zigzag ribbon is from a fabric store.

Batman

I just finished this page yesterday and I really like how it turned out. It is of our grandson when we visited a couple of months ago.  He was so thrilled with the Batman costume my husband bought for him. The papers were in my stash and I think I got them at Scrap A Poolaza in February. I believe they were in a prize pack and may be Close to my Heart but I am not sure. The gold paper is Tim Holtz and is in a paper pad. It is the type you can sand after embossing to get a different colour core. The tape measure and gears and film strip and embossing folder are also Tim Holtz. The fastener is from a fabric store. Mom gave it to me from her sewing stash. I used some tags and a chipboard button and buttons and twine and brads from my stash. The wooden ladybugs are dollar store. I did some sewing on this page. I also used a EK punch.

At the Ocean

Our daughter in law sent these photos of the grandchildren last year. I did one of each of them by the ocean. I really liked the colours of these papers. I inked and sprayed two different chipboard pieces. One is from my stash and the other is a diecut. The butterflies are dollar store. The plain wooden buttons are new and jellybean soup or something like that. Blue buttons are from my sash. I used a martha stewart punch and did a bunch of sewing. I also used one of those punches that punch anywhere on a page on a piece of recycled packaging. It is one of the ones behind the photo. For the other two pieces I stamped one in green with clocks and the other is cut with decorative scissors and has stickles on each scallop. I used some transparent clocks that I fussy cut from a transparency page I bought at Scrapbook Studio recently. I bought the bigger dream stamp at Michaels. The other is a clear stamp from a collection. The tiny flowers are Bonnie's and Paper Flower Garden.

This Kiss

I just love this photo of my daughter and granddaughter. Liv is almost 2 and gives kisses but very sparingly so it was a thrill for her mom to get one and for me to catch it on camera. I just bought this line of paper from Carta Bella. They have it at Scrapbook Studio. Called Paris Girl. I also bought the zipper pulls and light bulbs there. The flowers are just a bunch of leftover ones from my stash. All the paper layers are punched or fussy cut from this line. The metal tag is from the dollar store. I used some metal pins that were a gift. Thanks Laura. I used some lace from my stash that I bought some years ago at Paper Trails. Was so sorry when they closed. Used some Tim Holtz film strip. I sewed a border on the popped up frame in a kind of cross stitch pattern. I really liked. it. I think I sew on every page. I like the look of added layering.

Five of Us and Sheila

Used some new and some old supplies on this page. Made a twine flower from a tutorial on a blog site but forget which one. It is on several right now. Had coloured some white flowers for a different page and they didn't work but were perfect for this one. Bought the metal branch and love sign at Scrapbook Studio. The fasteners are from a fabric store. Some dusty attic and some unknown chipboard. The lace is from my mom. She sews and gave me a bunch of scraps. The bling is dollar store. Tim Holtz film strip. Bonnie's mini flowers and leaves. Paper doily. Used a new stamp at the top. Went crooked so just stamped it a few times for a bit of a collage. Stamped the grey background paper with some champagne coloured ink. I like how it turned out. Sewed the background pages together. I do that a lot. Martha Stewart Punch and Ranger stickles.  Made this page at Scrapbook Studio. Lots of fun but so tempting with all those supplies right at hand. Had a fun evening scrapping. Thanks for the invite Laura.

Birthday Card

Simple "guy" card. Used my gypsy and cricket for the letters and some old ribbon and buttons.

Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my sister last year. She is an avid horsewoman. Used papers from my stash, gold magenta stickers and a martha stewart punch. I forget the name of the manufacturer of the horse sticker. I was on a whole sheet of different embellies that coordinated with a paper line I used to do a layout for my daughter of her and her horse. Lots of horse people in our family. But not me lol.

Princess Olivia

This photo is of my granddaughter. She is sitting in a play tent so I made a tent theme on the page. I used some paper piecing for the top and the sides then folded paper for the "door". I used a disney princess line. I also used some zoo stamps, some fabric store lace and a dollar store foam kitten. I used a bunch of purple stickles and stitching to make it all coordinate. I gave it to my daughter as she just fell in love with it.

Mother's Day Card

The card I made for my mom this past May. She still has it up in her home. Not a great photo. Mostly lace from the fabric store. I often find good lace for cards and pages in the reduced bin. Flowers are Bonnie's hand made ones.

Beautiful Tatym

Beautiful Tatym. I made this page for my daughter in law for her birthday. It is of her daughter and our granddaughter. She is such a sweet girl and know I like to take photos so she will pose for the camera. I forgot to take a picture of the page before I gave it away so just have this cell phone photo.

First Birthday

Beautiful Olivia on her first birthday in a sea of pink gifts. Used papers from my stash and a wooden castle and Disney embellies that I bought at JSI. Lace and ribbon flower from the fabric store. Unknown bling. Used a martha stewart punch. Have quite a few of them and use them often.

By the Ocean

I made this page at Scrapbook Studio. I like to go there to scrap. I believe the papers and most embellies are Bo Bunny. Lori hung the page in the store for a while. I was thrilled that she asked. The stamps are Close to my Heart. I used some of the packaging on the page as well. I like to do that when I can. It gives some nice dimension and is the right colours. The flower and bird were a gift from a scrapbooking friend, thanks Laura. I used the rub ons from the paper line and cut a couple of butterflies as well.  This picture is in BC and of two of our grand children.

Coming to Canada

This is a photo of my great grandparents just before they left for Canada. I used some dusty attic on this page. Also some ribbon from a fabric store and papers from my stash. The tiny flowers are handmade and I bought them at Scrapbook Studio. The artist is Bonnie and she has Paper Flower Garden. The letters are chipboard but from my stash also so I don't have the name of the manufacturer.

Class of 1945-1946

I made this page for my step dad a couple of years ago.  It is an old photo of his class. I took some supplies up to the lake and used them to make this page. The background is a bit of a seafoam green/blue and matches mom's house.

Tiny Toes

I took this photo in July of 2011. This is the first time my little granddaughter had her toes in the lake. The whole page was made using some items in my stash as I made it while up at the lake on vacation.
