My First Quilt

Lots of work but I enjoyed making it. Cut out and fused then stitched all the flower petals and leaves. YouTube is really great for how to videos and I watched quite a few. It's just a small quilt but I am quite happy with how it turned out. I was expecting it to be fluffier more like a comforter.

At the lake scrapbooking and making cards. Doesn't get much better. Tried out my new TH wildflower stamps. Only have my sharpie markets here. Used the misti and stamped many layers of colour. High School Memories

Doesn't seem possible that it is over 15 years since Dianna and her friends had this photo taken at the WDM. I was so thrilled when she gave it to me. I wrote the supplies on the back. I always do that as well as add a bit of info about the photo. Dianna is on the right. She is still friends with one of the girls in the photo. She has kept many of her high school friends.

Wake Up Princess Olivia

Dianna captured a wonderful moment of Kent waking Olivia up for school. Of course Lola had to get in the picture. This is February 2016. Olivia is in Kindergarten   I always write my supplies on the back of the layout as well as a bit about the photo.
