This photo is of my husband taking a seadoo for a spin for the first time. I am always a bit awed by how athletically capable he is. He has played sports all his life and it shows. We spent an afternoon at my sister and brother in law's cabin. It was a fun day. I "borrowed" the idea of the distressed and torn and sewn sides from Heather Jacob. She is an amazing artist. If you haven't had a look at her blog go have a look. You are in for a treat.

Summer Photos
Jenn gave me these papers for a christmas gift. I do not usually use bright papers so it was a bit of a challenge but I have done a couple of layouts and like them both. It is good to get out of your comfort zone I guess lol. She also shared these great family photos they had taken last summer. I just love getting great photos.

Beautiful Olivia at Christmas
I took this photo at my sister's home on Christmas Day. She and her husband host us all each year in their beautiful home. I used some papers from my stash for this page. I bought the prima flower and the wooden embelsihments recently at scrapbook studio. The ribbon is from a fabric store. The buttons are from my stash. I used two martha stewart punches. I used some had made flowers from Bonnie's Flower Garden. I did some sewing but only a little on this page. Olivia is just over two and what a little beauty! We are fortunate that her mom brings her over often to visit.
Great Grandfather
I made this page many months ago. The photo is of my great grandfather, Augustus Kenderdine. It was in a large box of assorted family memorbia my aunt gave us recently. There was enough to share amoungst all the relatives. I used some dusty attic chipboard and bo bunny papers. I also used up some metal embelishments I had in my stash. The picture is a copy of a card the university sent out last year. I also used a thin chipboard clock from a tim holtz die and one of his stamps for the "artist". The "great" is cut with my cricit and gypsy. The grandfather is a dollar store embellishment. I have this page hanging in my home.

Remember This Moment
Another page of our beautiful Olivia. I just loved these papers. I bought them recently at scrapbook studio along with the wooden sentiment. The photo was taken at my sister Tanya's home. She hosted a second birthday party for Olivia. We so appreciated it.
Helen 1941
I just finished this page. I used up some papers I have had for a while. I scanned and cropped and repaired an old photo of Wally's mom. She was 17 in this photo. She certainly was beautiful. Forgive my picture of this page. It makes it look somewhat crooked.
Grandpa's Garden
I made this page some months ago. It was hanging in the scrapbook store for quite a while. It is still such a thrill when she asks if she can hang some of my work. The photo of it turned out well. Sometimes they turn out better than others but I don't know why. These pictures are of Wally's dad at his small farm at Turtle Lake some 20 years ago. He was an avid gardener.
